Microsoft have finally confirmed the existence of the long rumoured Xbox Series S next generation console, which will be released alongside the pricier and more powerful Xbox Series X in November.

The Series S is the smallest ever Xbox console, and is said to be 60% smaller than the Series X. The white coloured console (pictured below) doesn’t have a disc drive, has support for games at 120fps via 1440p resolution, 4K upscaling, 4K media playback, support for DirectX raytracing, and a 512GB SSD.

You’ll get all the above for a very nice £249. Now Microsoft just need to talk more about the Series X price, as well as the actual date that the consoles will launch in November.
