Sony have released a new video that finally showcases what the PlayStation 5’s User Interface will look like.

The PS5 now uses “cards”, not too dissimilar to the PS4, but they are utilised in a much slicker manner. Some highlights include being able to snap video walkthroughs of games by the side of your actual gameplay if you need hints completing a certain goal; you can jump ahead to specific challenges using the new Activities feature; the PS5 estimates how long it will take for you to complete a goal in a game; and in chat you can share your screens with friends and see each others progress within your own games via picture-in-picture mode, whether you are playing the same game or not, and can ping their gameplay screen to the edge of your screen while you play.

The menu is accessible with one touch of the PS button, with icons now lined at the bottom of the screen for easy access. The new menu certainly looks very fast, neat and sleek.
